Hatters plan pitch inspection for Tamworth clash

A statement on the club’s official website said: “There will be an 10am pitch inspection on Saturday morning at Kenilworth Road ahead of the Town’s Skrill Premier game with Tamworth.

“The pitch is in a saturated state following the recent heavy downpours and a local referee will inspect the surface on Saturday.

“This will allow the Tamworth team, and their supporters, an early indication of whether they should make the journey south.”
