Hatters looking to make three more signings

Town boss John Still has his eye on up to three more signings as he continues to bolster his squad for a promotion push next season, writes Mike Simmonds.

The new manager has already added six new players and released a host of others, but negotiations remain ongoing as he said: “We need another couple, if not three as talks are ongoing.”

On the positions Still is looking to fill, he said: “We’ve been looking at the defensive areas, maybe another midfielder, they’re the areas of concern really.

Hatters had been linked with a move for former Fleetwood duo Anthony Barry and Andy Mangan, who have since signed for Forest Green Rovers, but Still revealed personal terms were never going to be met, while ex-Dagenham & Redbridge striker Ben Strevens, now a free agent, isn’t on his wanted list either.
