Should Town pick up a result, it will extend their unbeaten run to 19 league games.

That would equal the record set twice between January and April in 1968 and April to October in 1969.

Boss John Still said: “I would be proud, but there’s only thing I want to do and that’s win the league, get promotion.

“I will look at any records we’ve done after that as I’m not interested in anything other than that.

“Anything we get along the way, we can look at that after. Lets focus on every game and if things fall in our favour, records along the way, that would be fantastic to look back at the end of the season and say we’ve also done that.”

Town don’t have any fresh injury worries ahead of the visit and Still has been impressed with how the likes of Jake Howells and Matt Robinson have seamlessly come back into the team recently.

He added: “This is a big part of us playing the team that’s not playing regularly in the FA Trophy.

“They’ve had good games haven’t they and acquitted themselves well.

“Robbo and Jake, to be fair, they are good players anyway, it wasn’t like I was worried about that.

“I was pleased that people have come in and the Barnet game wasn’t a game to judge people on what I call obvious qualities.

“It was a game to judge their unobvious qualities as the game became a game of as kick it as far as you can and run after it.

“That’s a skill as well. I know it sounds silly, but it’s a skill to be able to lift that ball out of those conditions and drop it in behind full backs, hook balls behind people and shut people down.

“They’re all skills and I thought we came up with those skills.”
