Hatters hopeful over Justham shoulder dislocation
But development team boss Hakan Hayrettin is confident he should be fit for Saturday’s league visit of Tamworth.
He said: “It’s a dislocated shoulder. It’s been popped back in. Hopefully he will be fine.

“Hopefully it should be fine and most importantly for us was that we kept a clean sheet, 2-0.
“The professionalism of the team came through in the end and we got a good result and it was a professional performance.”
Luton did well to keep their discipline in a fractious encounter, earning a semi-final tie at Barton Rovers thanks to Jon Shaw’s 38th-minute penalty and David Viana’s long range strike on 76 minutes that was fumbled into the net by the home keeper.

Hide AdReturning defender Alex Lacey, playing his first game since suffering a broken metatarsal, was unsurprised that someone had picked up an injury in a niggly clash.
He said: “I think it’s inevitable when you play against a team like this.
“We’re the big team in the draw and it’s a cup final in a way for them, so I think they tried to bully us into their victory.
“I think we stood firm and we did well and it was inevitable one player or so would pick up a knock, sadly for Elliot it’s a shoulder injury, but sometimes it’s just the way it goes I guess.”

Hide AdLuton handed debuts to centre-half Fraser Franks and left winger Jernade Meade on the night, while senior players like Lacey, Anthony Charles, Kane Ferdinand and Jon Shaw were supplemented by a number of talented youngsters.
Hayrettin was pleased with their contribution, as he said: “Fraser Franks did really well, I thought Charlo did well, Lacey’s played the full 90 minutes, credit to him that he’s done that.
“I think Jernade Meade, we had to protect him a little bit and take him off because I think he was getting thrown and kicked about all over the place.
“And Jon Shaw I was very impressed with him again tonight, a good professional, put in a good shift.”

On whether he hoped to be involved at the weekend, 20-year-old Lacey added: “I haven’t really thought about that, I’ve just tried to work hard in training and I guess it’s the manager’s decision when he wants to put me in.
“But I’ve been working hard to get back to fitness so any game would be great, but it’s his decision in the end.”
