The 22-year-old had rejected two new contract offers from the club and the News/Gazette last week revealed the club were standing firm over his refusal to sign a deal.

Walker eventually signed on the dotted line on Thursday morning and tweeted: “Delighted to have signed a new deal with luton town!

“Can’t wait to help the club get back in to the league! Thanks for all your support :)”
