Hatters happy that Walker ‘sees sense’

UNSETTLED striker Dan Walker finally ‘saw sense’ by penning a new one-year deal according to managing director Gary Sweet, writes Mark Wood.

The 22-year-old had rejected two new contract offers from the club and the News/Gazette last week revealed the club were standing firm over his refusal to sign a deal.

Walker eventually signed on the dotted line on Thursday morning and tweeted: “Delighted to have signed a new deal with luton town!
