Hatters fail with appeal over Wall suspension
Luton have failed in their bid to overturn the three-game ban striker Alex Wall received in Friday night’s 2-0 defeat at Wrexham.
The Town target man was sent off for a high-footed challenge on Wrexham captain Neil Ashton just 19 minutes after coming on as a second half substitute.
He misses tonight’s game with Dartford, Saturday’s visit of Lincoln City and Tuesday’s trip to Woking.
A club tweet read: “The Hatters’ appeal against the severity of Alex Wall’s red card at Wrexham has failed. He will serve a three-game ban with immediate effect.”
