He said: “Like I say every week, it ain’t half going to be tough because you’re coming to the stage of the season now where most teams have something to play for.

“It’s that time of the year isn’t it. If you look bottom half of the table - I’m not saying all of them - but most of them will need to win some games.

“If you’re right down the bottom you’ve got to win lots of games.

“So that makes it tough, and you look above that and you’ve got probably half a dozen teams saying that we can get in the play-offs and that’s teams that are not in the play-offs already, so that gives it a competitive edge as well.

“I love it, I think it’s fantastic.”

Luton currently lead the Skrill Premier, but Still thinks it is their former Football League status that make them a more attractive scalp then heading the standings.

He added: “I have a thing about raising your game, teams can only play as well as the players that they’ve got allows them to play.

“With the greatest of respect, Luton can’t play like Chelsea, we ain’t as good as Chelsea, no matter how much we raise our game.

“We can get to the peak of our game. I suppose that people would view playing us Luton as a big game, maybe Grimsby as a big game, maybe Cambridge as a big game.

“The former Football League clubs, if you’ve not been a Football League club, they’re big games for the teams in the same way.

“I’m going to be hypothetical again here, in the same way that Fulham go to Manchester City that’s a big game for them, Fulham go to Manchester United that’s a big game.

“It’s never been anything that worried me to be honest.”
