Hatters boss Still hopes for Oak Road boost

Opening the Oak Road end to home supporters will give both Luton fans and players a boost, writes Mark Wood.

Following a successful trial earlier this season the traditional away end will be open once more to Town fans and boss John Still revealed at yesterday’s press conference he notices the difference.

He said: “I think it makes a difference for supporters and more so than players.

“The support has been fantastic whether it’s been open or not.

“But I think it does for supporters, I think it gives them a little bit of a lift and them having a lift probably gives the players a bit of a lift if I’m being honest.

“I like it and I would love it to be there all the time. I understand the reasons it can’t be, but I would love that to be the case.”
