Hatters boss not looking at loan market just yet

THE loan market will have to wait as Luton boss Paul Buckle looks to assemble a fully-committed squad from next season, writes Mark Wood.

Buckle was pleased with the way Town’s players responded to his leadership at the end of last season but knows he has to make changes to realise their promotion dream next term.

He said: “I don’t see me bringing in a loan now.

“I want people to commit to the squad. I want a committed squad before we talk tactics or kick a ball. I think the loan market will be used if we pick up injuries or if the right type comes up at the right time in the season.”
