Hatters to assess defender Richards
Town will take their time with long-term injured defender Garry Richards, writes Mark Wood.
The former Gillingham player has yet to feature for Hatters after signing on a free transfer last summer and along with midfielder Alex Lawless, were the only two to miss the return to pre-season training on Monday,
Boss John Still believed Lawless to be a week away, but on Richards, he said: “Garry’s not back in training as such. We will be assessing that a little bit later this week.
“He had a really nasty injury and you can’t rush that.”
