Hatters and AFC honour Luton legend Preece

It is hoped the game will become an annual match and kicks off at 3pm, with many youth teams from both clubs playing each other in the morning.

The day is the culmination of the partnership the two clubs have set up and will help to commemorate Luton legend Preece, who passed away on July 20, 2007.

Preece’s sister Louise, also speaking on behalf of his three daughters, said: “We are really pleased that you are marking this while honouring David’s name.”
