Harris hopeful over Pelly and Lawless

Luton Town assistant manager Terry Harris is hopeful both Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu and Alex Lawless will be fit for Saturday’s home Skrill Premier clash with Tamworth, writes Mike Simmonds.

Ruddock Mpanzu has been suffering from an ankle injury, while Lawless was sidelined with an eye infection and would have missed last weekend’s postponed trip to Dartford.

Harris said:”Pelly is a possibility, he’s done some training sessions now.

“He hasn’t had that much game time, but played for West Ham against Fulham a couple of weeks ago, so I’m sure he’ll be available for selection.

“Alex has trained and after talking to the physio, he’s come along fine and hopefully be available.”

On the test that Tamworth, who are struggling in the relegation zone, possess, Harris continued: “It’s been well documented, John (Still) has said it, there are no easy games and won’t be between now and the end of the season.

“We know what Tamworth have got, we know their strengths and their weaknesses.

“It’s an important game with Cambridge playing at Kidderminster on Thursday as well as we’ll know where we stand on Saturday as far as points are concerned.”
