Hand makes Mansfield switch

FORMER Luton loanee Jamie Hand has joined big-spending Conference rivals Mansfield Town.

The 28-year-old ex-Watford midfielder saw a deal to move to Kenilworth Road fall through last season, after scoring two goals in 15 appearances during a four-month loan spell.

Hand quit Hayes & Yeading after a row over the size of a club fine for a red card and was also fined by the FA over Twitter comments made to Luton fans.

Stags boss Paul Cox said: “He has already raised a few eyebrows in training with one or two of his tackles. But the lad can play too.”
