Guttridge is delighted to fire the goals in Town’s promotion push
Attack-minded midfielder Luke Guttridge is pleased his goals are helping to fire Town’s promotion bid, writes Mark Wood.
The midfield maestro netted his 10th goal of the season to put Luton 3-0 up against Nuneaton Town on Saturday as they romped to a fantastic 5-0 victory.
He said: “I’m delighted to help, it’s always nice to score goals. Last year at Aldershot I was used more as an attacking player and I scored more goals, whereas when I went to Northampton the manager wanted me to play in a more of a defensive role which I can play there, but I think I’m more beneficial attacking-wise.”
