Griffiths: I’ve Still got it

John Still disciple Scott Griffiths is hoping his former boss will bring the best out of him after the pair were reunited at Kenilworth Road on Monday, writes Mark Wood.

The 27-year-old left-back has signed a contract until the end of the season and is hoping to earn a longer term deal when that comes to an end.

Having left Championship side Peterborough United in January, the attack-minded defender is now hoping to rediscover the form he found under Still that earnt him a move to London Road in October 2009.

He said: “That’s the hope. When I played under him before he knew how to get the best out of his players, he knew what each individual was capable of.

“I’m hoping he can bring me up to where I was before, just when I went to Peterborough, playing really strong and being really fit.”
