Gray’s relishing centre stage role for the Hatters
Young gun Andre Gray is relishing the chance to play in his preferred centre forward role as he netted twice during Town’s 2-2 draw at Mansfield on Sunday, writes Mark Wood.

With Luton reverting to a 4-4-2 formation in their last two games, Gray has shone playing through the middle with his pace and power, feeding off Scott Rendell.
Playing 4-3-3, Gray had been pushed wide on the right and had struggled for goals, but now has five for the season.
On the change, he said: “I will play anywhere as long as I’m playing.
“But obviously I’ve come here as a centre forward and it is probably my best position facing towards goal instead of having my back to goal.”
