Gray: We won’t park the bus at Wrexham

Hatters go into the second leg with a 2-0 advantage, but according to Gray, there is no chance of his side trying to just sit on that lead, especially with Wrexham’s direct approach.

He said: “We’ve got to approach it the same as we did (on Thursday). That’s our best form of defence. Going into any game with any team, trying to park the bus is not going to happen.

“With the size of their players and them booting it forward, it’s going to be very difficult if we sit in, it would kill us.

“So we’ve got to play the same way as we did against Fleetwod last week. We needed a draw but went there and won.

“It’s a massive game, but it’s only half time yet,so we haven’t celebrated.”

Gray has been in scintillating for since moving to Kenilworth Road from Blue Square North side Hinckley United, netting six in 10 games, but admitted the return of Amari Morgan-Smith will make sure he ups his game even more.

He added: “I think that’s what gets us to where we are now. No-one can slack and everyone is fighting for our places. Everyone’s going to have bad game, but everyone’s going to work hard and and we trust each other.”
