Gray glad of home comforts as Hatters return to Kenilworth Road

Town have picked up eight points out of a possible 12 from their four-straight away games in the league, while their only defeat came in the FA Cup where they lost 2-1 at the Wings in the first round.
Luton’s six-straight away game odyssey equalled a 100-year-old record for the Hatters and the feat has only happened twice before in the club’s history, with the other time being in 1902.

Braintree’s not a nice place to go and then coming to places like this (Chester), who are fighting at the bottom, it’s always going to be hard.
“Then you had Gateshead and Tamworth, so we’ve come out of them unscathed.
“We’ve got a couple of good home games coming up now so hopefully we can take maximum points and kick on.”
