Gray gears up for his England C debut

TOWN boss Paul Buckle thinks that striker Andre Gray’s trip to Russia with the England C side will be an extremely beneficial experience for the former Hinckley forward, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 20-year-old, who is expected to start at the Arena Khimki, earned his call-up to Paul Fairclough’s squad for the International Challenge Trophy tie this afternoon after a stunning start to life at Kenilworth Road, netting seven goals in 12 games, including four in his first four.

Buckle said: “I think it will be invaluable.

“I think he’s certainly someone who the more he plays, the better he’ll get.”
