Gleeson delighted with his comeback

HATTERS defender Dan Gleeson was delighted to get his first 90 minutes of the season under his belt during the 1-1 Football Combination draw with Stevenage yesterday afternoon, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 26-year-old hadn’t completed a full game since the play-off final defeat to AFC Wimbledon in May, making just one substitute appearance this season at Mansfield back in August.

He said: “It was good to play. I needed it after being out for a long while. I’ve been training the last couple of weeks, but it’s never the same as playing a game, so it was good to get 90 minutes.”
