Frontman Danny is starting to Crow

IT’S been quite a turnaround for Luton Town striker Danny Crow, writes Mike Simmonds.

Left on the sidelines in recent weeks, he was thrown on for the final 13 minutes against Newport County last month and scored a dramatic last-minute winner.

Another goal followed against Lincoln, while he grabbed two in the 3-1 victory at Tamworth on Saturday to make it four in his last five games and seven for the season.

When asked if he could be the man to fire the goals to kickstart Luton’s promotion bid, Crow said: “Hopefully. We had Amari (Morgan-Smith), who was on fire at the start of the year, I think he’s on nine goals and has been a big miss.

“We haven’t scored that many goals, so to get three away from home is very nice.”
