Franks reveals Gray chat helped convince him to make Luton move
A chat with England C team-mate Andre Gray helped to convince young centre-half Fraser Franks to join Luton from Welling this week, writes Mark Wood.
With more than one option on the table the 23-year-old defender admitted he had turned to Luton’s electric young striker for advice.
He said: “I know Andre Gray really well from the summer in Bermuda and Andy Parry from the last squad as well.

Hide Ad“I did go to Andre for a bit of advice. I asked him what it’s like here and he had nothing but good things to say about the club and maybe it played a little part in me coming here.
“Once I came here myself I knew everything he was saying was true and wanted to come on board.
“All of the lads have made me feel really welcome.”
