Former Hatter Sodje takes role at Silkmen
Ex-Luton Town defender Efe Sodje has joined Conference side Macclesfield as assistant manager.
John Askey has taken over the reins at the Moss Rose, while Nigeria international Sodje, 40, was one of 16 players released by Bury last month, ending his five-year stay at Gigg Lane.
Sodje made 13 appearances for the Hatters are signing from the Silkmen in 1999 before leaving to sign for Crewe Alexandra.
