The Hatters also included former Lincoln City and Walsall midfielder Josh O’Keefe in the side, while the likes of Shane Blackett, Andre Boucaud, Craig McAllister and Charlie Henry all featured too.

It was Oxford who took the lead through Tyrone Marsh early on, but Luton levelled on 20 minutes when Bogle headed home Henry’s cross.

JJ O’Donnell put the Town ahead 10 minutes later before Godfrey Poku netted with a fine angled drive just prior to the interval.

Bogle came close to a second after the break, but Oxford reduced the arrears through David Lynn, while Matt Fletcher made it 3-3 late on as the spoils were shared.
