Fleetwood would love to stay with Hatters if he’s in Still’s plans

Striker Stuart Fleetwood would love to stay at Luton Town next season – but only if he is playing regularly, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 26-year-old is out of contract at the end of the campaign and had found himself on the bench in recent weeks.

But he has started Luton’s last two matches and, speaking exclusively to the News/Gazette, he said: “I do love it here and do love playing for Luton, I’m not going to hide that fact at all.

“But obviously if you’re not in the team, you want to play football. I’d love to stay but we’ll see what happens.

“The new manager has his own ideas and whether I’m in those or not, we’ll have to wait and see.”
