Fleetwood confident new breed of Hatter will be a success

The 16-goal hitman highlighted Luton’s indifferent midweek form as a key area they must improve if they are to realise promotion.

Town won just three league games played on a Tuesday or Wednesday last season as Fleetwood said: “We look back at the season and we made a great start.

“Disappointingly Tuesday night games were a little bit of a hindrance, why, we couldn’t put out finger on.

“So we will be looking to make the same sort of start as last year and build upon it.

“There will probably be a new breed of players coming through the club and we will have to wait and see how we get on.”
