Fitzsimons steps up Hatters recovery

Luton Town defender Danny Fitzsimons has stepped up his return from a long-term knee injury, writes Mike Simmonds.

The summer signing from Histon took part in the warm down after Saturday’s 3-0 win over Alfreton.

Manager John Still said: “I didn’t know who it was, I thought it was a ginger bloke who had turned up and run around the pitch.

“I’m really pleased for him. It’s been a difficult time for him, not this year, but he’s stepping forward now.”
