Fitzsimons aims for promotion with Hatters

The 21-year-old, who penned a two-year deal at Kenilworth Road last month from Conference North side Histon, said: “That’s what the manager stressed to me, that was his aim, to come in and get the club promoted.

“He’s done it before at Dagenham, got them two back-to-back promotions and everyone I talk to has confidence in what he does.

“I’m looking forward to working with him.

“Hopefully we can get points on the board and get Luton pushed into the Football League.

“I’ve had my holiday already, so I’m looking to come back in good shape and have real go at it.”
