HATTERS fans have been voting for the man they would like to see be named the next manager at Kenilworth Road, writes Mike Simmonds.

Almost 100 supporters took part in a vote run by the Luton News Twitter page @LutonNews_LTFC, with current England C boss Paul Fairclough, narrowly taking the honours, winning 18 per cent of the vote.

Tied in second place was former Brentford chief Martin Allen and bookies favourite Paul Buckle with 16 per cent, while current assistant Alan Neilson had eight per cent.

Lee Clark, just sacked by Huddersfield, was a popular choice for many with six per cent, while ex-Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince and Town legend David Pleat gleaned four per cent each.
