Ex-Town striker Charles moves as Spillane trials with Brewers
Ex-Town striker Ryan Charles has signed for Calor Southern League Premier Division team Frome Town.
Charles, 23, came through the youth system at Kenilworth Road, scoring four goals in 23 games and has also played for Newport County, Cambridge United and Rushden & Diamonds, Hemel Hempstead and Hitchin Town.
Meanwhile, ex-Hatter Michael Spillane netted as Burton Albion came from 2-0 down to beat Derby County 3-2 in the final of the 124th Bass Charity Vase on Tuesday night.
The trialist impressed on the night and will continue to train with the Brewers.
