Emberson returns to Hatters as coach

FORMER Town goalkeeper Carl Emberson has returned to the club as first team development coach.

The 38-year-old made 60 appearances between the posts in two years at Kenilworth Road between 2001 and 2003 having been signed from Colchester United.

Whilst at Layer Road, Emberson played alongside current Town boss Paul Buckle, before returning to Colchester last summer when he was appointed as a coach by Buckle.

Emberson’s role will be to assist the Town boss with first team coaching duties and will also be responsible for the transition of young players into fully-fledged professionals.
