Dunstable Town pounce to sign former Hatter O’Leary
Ambitious Dunstable Town have swooped to sign former Luton Town midfielder Stephen O’Leary.
O’Leary played over 100 times for the Hatters between 2001–08 and has also played for the likes of Tranmere Rovers, Hereford United, Bradford City, Kettering Town, Boreham Wood and most recently Hemel Hempstead Town.
On the 28-year-old’s return to Creasey Park, director of football John McLoughlin said: “I have signed Stephen O’Leary who came into the squad yesterday. Steve’s CV speaks for itself and we welcome him to club.”
Meanwhile BJ Christie has returned to neighbour AFC Dunstable, with McLoughlin adding: “We wish him all the best.”
