The 20-year-old joined Luton on loan until January 4 from Port Vale last week and made an immediate debut during Saturday’s goalless draw.

Hatters boss John Still is expected to go with a similar side this evening as Davis said: “Hopefully I’ve done enough to play again on Tuesday which is the aim.

“It’s another game to impress and that’s all I wanted to do, play as many games as I can, impress everyone here, hopefully do all right and stay for a little bit longer.

“I’ve been wanting to get out for a while, whether that’s Luton or anywhere else.

“I’m delighted to be here now and I’m going to crack on, try to do all right in training and get as many games as I can.”

Hatters could have won the tie at the first attempt on Saturday, but Swans keeper Jack Turner made some fantastic stops, especially in the second half as Davis continued: “He had a worldie to be fair, he saved a few that I thought were in.

“We’re a little bit disappointed about that, but we’ll go again.”

The hosts were down to 10 men after just 29 minutes too when Jordaan Brown was dismissed for two bookings and Davis thought the Skrill South side acquitted themselves well with a man down.

He said: “I didn’t really see what happened, the second one, I didn’t have a view of, I’ve just seen him trudging off the pitch.

“I thought they did well with 10 men, they were hard to break and get shots off, so they did well to get a result.”

With Town selecting a young side at the weekend, including the likes of Zane Banton and David Viana, Davis had been impressed with what he saw.

He said: “I think there’s a lot of good talent here. The right back (Tinashe Chabata) did well as he got thrown in last minute, so fair play to him.

“I tried to help him a little bit, talk to him, and I think it’s important that the pros give them some help which I think Jake Howells and Shaun Whalley did.”

Meanwhile, fellow new loanee Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu is looking to make his second appearance for Town as he added: “That’s what I’m looking for. Hopefully Luton fans can roar us on and get the win.”
