Cup success for Hatters Ladies

Luton Town Ladies lifted the Beds Women’s County Cup for a record fifth time defeating Bedford Ladies 4-0 at the weekend.

Lauren Goodier tucked home the opener, before Rachel Kosky converted Laura Day’s cross.

It was 3-0 when Nicola Henman drilled her shot low into the corner and the fourth arrived as Kosky’s inswinging corner was netted by the diving Henman.

Meanwhile, the U18s added the Beds Senior Girls Development Cup to their trophy cabinet as they beat Leighton United 3-2 in extra time on Sunday with goals from Shona Leo (2) and Tamara Bayne.
