The summer signing from Hull City started his last league match for Hatters back in September, the goalless draw at Hereford.
After scoring the winner in a 3-2 development triumph over Gillingham on Wednesday afternoon, Cullen said: “It’s always good the team is winning as we’re all in it together.
“We’ve all played our different roles, different parts and the lads are doing well, which I’m pleased to see.
“I want to do my well myself, but if it means I have to wait my time while the other lads are doing their thing, that’s fair enough.”
