Creative midfielder Kissock must tackle his shortcomings as he comes back into contention

CREATIVE midfielder John Paul Kissock must learn from his silly sending off at Wrexham earlier this month, writes Mark Wood.

The 22-year-old is available for tonight’s trip to Forest Green Rovers after serving his three-match ban for a wild tackle at the death at the Racourse Ground and boss Gary Brabin knows that tackling is an area of his game he needs to improve.

He said: “Obviously he’s going to be disappointed with his sending off. He still doesn’t think it was a sending off, but I think we’ve got to teach him how to tackle.

“We thought it was a silly tackle and we have enough to say when them things don’t go for us and when it happens by us I will be the first one to admit it. I thought it was a sending off.

“But he’s just got to learn from this and it’s part of his game we have tried to help him with and hopefully it can make him a better player.”
