Christmas comes early for Osano

HATTERS defender Curtis Osano received an early Christmas present this week when he was awarded a contract at Kenilworth Road until the end of the season, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 24-year-old Kenyan international was initially given a three-month deal with the club during pre-season to help solve Town’s defensive injury crisis.

But the former Rushden & Diamonds man has impressed during his 13 appearances and was delighted to put pen to paper for a longer stay.

Speaking exclusively to the Luton News / Dunstable Gazette, he said: “My main mission was to try and get a contract guaranteed and sorted out because I needed stability in my life football wise.

“This came as a bonus to get it this early. I was waiting for Christmas time, so it’s a good sign that I’m doing OK.”
