Charles hopes to play his part in Town’s promotion bid
The 32-year-old summer signing had been limited to just four appearances this season after a succession of injuries.

Hide AdBut he returned to the starting line-up against Wrexham in the FA Trophy on Saturday, completing 90 minutes, and said: “The gaffer brought me here because he knew what I could do.
“Unfortunately I haven’t been able to show him what I can do and as a player if you are injured, you feel as though you’re not doing your job and pulling your weight.
“There’s another 20 odd games for me to be involved in. I’d like to be considered for next week and would love to be starting.”

Still recently brought in three new faces to bolster the back-line in Alfie Mawson, Joe Davis and Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, competition that was welcomed by Charles.
