Cauley makes Fulham strides

HATTERS: Former Luton Town starlet Cauley Woodrow is making strides at Fulham and has broken into their reserve team, writes Mark Wood.

Future payments to Hatters are tied to how well he does with the Cottagers – which could rise to seven figures – and their academy chief Kit Symons has admitted he is seeing less and less of the teenage striker.

He said: “We’ve got some good young boys pushing on now.

Cauley Woodrow is another first year who’s been up with the reserves so I’ve not seen a lot of him lately.

“Getting up to the reserves is one step and it’s great.

“But now we need them reach the first team which is our ultimate goal.”
