Carney signs up for Dunstable Town

Dunstable Town have signed former Luton Town youngster Newman Carney.

The 18-year-old, who had been at Kenilworth Road since the age of 12 and recently signed his first professional contract, parted company with the club earlier this month.

Blues director of football John McLoughlin said: “Newman will make his first team debut on Saturday (against Hale Leys United).

“I have known Newman since he was a lad and his dad has been with the club for years, so we see Newman as a great asset to the club.”
