Cambridge tie excites Buckle

Luton Town were drawn away to Blue Square Bet Premier rivals Cambridge United in the fourth round qualifying of the FA Cup on Monday – a game that will have added ‘spice’ after ex-Town boss Richard Money was appointed the U’s new head coach last week, writes Mark Wood.

Hatters beat their opponents 3-2 in the league last month, while the tie on Saturday, October 20, has now been moved to 1pm due to police advice.

Money enjoyed a record of 46 wins, 21 draws and 17 losses while in charge at Luton and Buckle said: “It’s a tough game no doubt about that. They’ve got a new manager and that will add a bit of spice to the occasion.

Buckle though won’t even consider choosing an under-strength side and is targeting a run in the competition.

He said: “No way, it’s the FA Cup, we won’t be taking any rest, you won’t see me fielding a weakened team in any competition this season.”
