Buckle impressed by Carney and Kidd
Carney, 18, has been out for six months after breaking his leg and new boss Paul Buckle said: “I went up to the Centres of Excellence the other night and watched them train.
“He’s a fantastic prospect and it’s good that he’s back.
“We want the young players to come through and all the youngsters will have a chance here.”

Hide AdBuckle was also pleased with the progress that young goalkeeper Lewis Kidd was making as he added: “I was really impressed with him. I think Dimi (Kharine) is doing a great job with the goalkeepers.
“It’s important that anyone in the buillding as a player feels they’ve got a chance. There’s nothing worse than being in the building when you know you’re not going to play.”
