Buckle hopeful over Thomas’ international clearance
The 33-year-old signed on Monday from Greek side Veroia, but wasn’t available for the 1-1 draw with Forest Green Rovers yesterday.
Buckle said: “We need everyone involved, especially as (Alex) Lawless will miss that.

“I’m hopeful that the clearance will come through although with the Greek authorities, it’s a strange one, they can hold things back and hold things up.”
The boss recalled Janos Kovacs to the starting line-up for Saturday to play alongside recent signing Steve McNulty and would have no hesitation in sticking with the new partnership.
He added: “Certainly Kovacs playing like that alongside McNulty, they (Rovers) never got through the middle of us.
“They put dangerous balls in, played a bit shorter and had some powerful strikers, but we looked solid.

“I was angry at Barrow because I felt we were little bit weak, but I didn’t see any weaknesses this time.”
