Buckle explains reason behind Kissock departure

HATTERS boss Paul Buckle is confident he has plenty of options in midfield after letting the creative John Paul Kissock join Macclesfield Town on loan until January 5 in a quest for regular first team football, writes Mark Wood.

The diminutive midfielder is a popular figure with the Hatters faithful who have nicknamed him ‘Messi’, but Buckle admitted he couldn’t guarantee him a place at Kenilworth Road.

He said: “I think JP wants to play regular football and you can’t hold that against any player.”
