Buckle delighted with latest Hatters transfer activity

HATTERS boss Paul Buckle was delighted with his recent transfer activity after adding Jon Shaw, Scott Rendell and Garry Richards to his squad, writes Mike Simmonds.

Speaking about the capture of Richards, the boss said: “I think that we’ve bought a couple of strikers in, we bought in (Danny) Spiller and it makes sense to bring a centre half in.

“I always liked Garry Richards. I liked his CV, he’s a no-nonsense defender and this league warrants that.”
