Buckle delighted by Town’s pre-season plans

HATTERS boss Paul Buckle declared himself delighted with the pre-season schedule the club have arranged, writes Mike Simmonds.

Town announced last week there would be three home games against Ipswich Town, Leyton Orient and Wycombe Wanderers, with trips also agreed to the likes of Hitchin Town and St Albans.

Buckle, who hinted one final match might be arranged, said: “There’s some real realism to the fixtures, they’re all hard tests.

“The quicker you can get the games put together, the quicker you start focusing on the training schedule, so I’m delighted to have that done.

“We were always on catch up after the play off final, but we’ve moved very quickly, so I’m happy in that.”
