Buckle can understand fans frustrations

Town boss Paul Buckle could well understand the fans frustration after Hatters were jeered during their 2-0 win over Nuneaton Town at the weekend, writes Mike Simmonds.

With the scores goalless for long periods, there were chants of ‘what a load of rubbish’ emanating around Kenilworth Road before Alex Lawless took aim and smashed into the top corner with just five minutes remaining.

Speaking to the media afterwards, Buckle said: “It’s going to happen, I totally understand their frustration.

“The biggest thing for me is the players didn’t let if affect them did they? They went on and smashed one in the top corner from 30 yards and then countered and scored again.”
