Brill relieved it’s all change at Kenilworth Road

RETURNING to a much-changed Hatters dressing room has been a welcome relief for goalkeeper Dean Brill, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 26-year-old made over 90 appearances after coming through the ranks at Kenilworth Road, culminating in winning the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy back in 2009.

Almost all of that squad has now left Kenilworth Road though, including Brill’s former team-mates George Pilkington and Keith Keane, who departed in the summer, and the stopper was pleased to be part of a newlook Luton squad.

With Brill the ninth new signing of the summer and 15 moving on, he has been mightily impressed with what he has seen so far.

The keeper also believes the squad are well equipped to win promotion this season and then go even further.
