Brabin taking his time with talented Watkins
HATTERS boss Gary Brabin isn’t heaping too much pressure on young midfielder Adam Watkins this season, writes Mike Simmonds.
The 20-year-old was an unused substitute at Kidderminster on Saturday after starting the previous week against Barrow and netting his second of the season.
Brabin said: “I think everyone knows what I think of Adam. I had a god chat with him in the summer and he’s grabbed it with both hands.
“In training he was outstanding, he earned his new contract, earned his debut and a start in the side and I’m made up with the progress.”
