Brabin ready for ‘juicy’ York tie

A JUICY tie was how Town boss Gary Brabin summed up the FA Trophy draw that paired the Hatters with arch-rivals York on Monday, writes Mark Wood.

The Minstermen have proved something of a bogey side for the Hatters in recent times, but the Town boss revealed Luton hold no grudges and is looking forward to the tie.

He said: “We had a feeling we would draw York. It makes for a juicy tie and I’m sure York are looking forward to it too.

“I don’t think you can ever get rid of the history that’s gone on.

“I don’t think there was any animosity in the last game. We were nowhere near good enough on the day and deservedly beaten.

“That’s gone now, we certainly don’t hold any grudges. We look at every game professionally and this will be no different.”
